Full-stack Software Engineer for a Sustainability SaaS Scaleup

We are looking for a Fullstack Java/Groovy Software Engineer to join our fastgrowing team.

This role is based in Helsinki. We support hybrid work mode but for efficient communication with the teammates you should be able to come to our office in Helsinkifor 23 days a week. English proficiency is required Finnish is not.

What youll do:

• Design and develop new functions components services and their integrations.
• Investigate and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
• Deliver good quality maintainable code.
• Investigate and fix technical issues and improvement opportunities.
• Review code from other developers and identify areas of improvement.
• Contribute to design decisions in cooperation with others.
• Write documentation contribute to application releases and maintenance.
• Closely collaborate with Product Managers and other engineers.

What you need:

• You are a selfstarter who can take the initiative to find solutions and get results.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in serverbased Java/Spring architectures.
• Mandatory technologies & skills: ORM MongoDB unit testing basics of JavaScript REST API.
• Familiarity with best coding practices performance optimization and code efficiency.
• You are not scared of both complex legacy code & refactoring and rewriting it in a modern tech landscape.
• Not mandatory but seen asa plus: Groovy React/TypeScript AWS Docker Microservices.
• You are able to contribute aclean working code into an existing largescale system.
• Attention to detail.
