The Role
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and S&OP we are seeking an additional Supply Chain & Logistics Manager based in either Kelowna or Vancouver. This role is critical in leading a team to ensure the seamless flow of raw materials and finished products within the supply chain. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal and 3PL stakeholders to optimize the network and distribute products to meet sales goals. Additionally the Supply & Logistics Manager will oversee directtoconsumer shipping and lead the S&OP cadence for both the wine and spirit business.
Inventory Management
- Work with wineries distilleries internal & 3PL warehouses to ensure raw materials are efficiently placed and moved based on DRP recommendations
- Manage relationships with freight forwarding and warehousing partners to ensure product is delivered on time and available for forecasted requirements
- Reconcile on hand physical inventory with system reported inventory monthly
- Build KPIs & tools to effectively measure and reduce expiry risk
Supply Planning
- Work with the internal Canadian Sales Team on strategic projects/initiatives to provide supply related expertise and insights
- Analyze determine and implement strategic inventory targets by item/location for your category
- Monitor KPI performance and maintain target service levels inventory levels and data integrity objectives
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Cadence
- Lead the Portfolio and Supply Review meetings on monthly cadence with the Brands team
- Take ownership of all atrisk items to ensure all remediating actions are fully executed to minimize the impact to customer service
- Coordinate with the demand organization to ensure required are and integrated into supply plans
- Continually communicate status updates to stakeholders for atrisk items
- Optimize the end to end supply chain and distribution system while enhancing customer service
Direct to Consumer Fulfillment
- Maintain oversight of our DTC fulfillment at our owned & 3PL warehouses
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce order touches
- Manage & maintain packaging and repack materials ensuring products are delivered as specified
What Youll Bring:
- Previous Supply Chain Planning experience prior CPG or Beverage Industry experience is an asset
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce; Supply Chain specialization preferred
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel BI experience an asset
- Understanding of ERP functionality
