Job title: Relationship Manager
Salary: up to 50k
Location: once a week in Cardiff
Vargo is working alongside a wellknown financial services business to recruit a Relationship Manager for the investment team. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately 40 business customers that have received business loans. The role will be a great opportunity for either an Accountant or Banker to move into a commercial role where they get to interact closely and support these commercial customers to grow their businesses. It will be rewarding and will present career development opportunities. Candidates will be required to understand and interpret a set of Management Accounts and spot future funding opportunities.
Role overview:
- Support and monitor a portfolio of companieswho
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support the clients
- Maintain appropriate contact with clients monitoring their financialsand offering support and guidance as required
- Produce and update relevant monitoring tools and systems for all companies activities
- Seek out further investment opportunities within the portfolio
- Work within the businesses professional and governance frameworks
- Attend business events and socials to promote the wider business
Skills required:
- Either commercial experience as an accountant or previous commercial lending experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good understanding of business and companies financial information
- Driving licence
