Job Summary:

Location: Shared Services
Address: 1725 S. 20th Street. Omaha NE

Work Schedule: Mon Fri 7:30am to 4:00pm

Manage and direct all Shared Service Systems sales activities for product sales to acute and nonacute facilities to include hospitals nursing homes and clinics. Work cohesively with all departments to help coordinate all external sales functions. Market Shared Service Systems to external accounts. Manage and market Physician Choice Buying Program. Work with all GPOs in providing distribution services for GPO members.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

1. Manage and direct the SSS Sales Manager and sales representatives to include:

  • To oversee the supervision and evaluation of the Sales Staff Team consisting of about 10 staff.

  • Territory design for maximum sales growth and cost effectiveness.

  • Territory volume growth targets and account profitability analytics.

  • Sales representative product knowledge attitude professional growth sales meetings and sales training program.

2. Work with Shared Service Systems President/CEO to represent Shared Service Systems in national and regional meetings (i.e. Vizient Premier and other GPO organizations NDC HIDA and IMCO associations).

3. Develop relationships with key decisionmakers at our top 25 customers including Purchasing Directors and Managers CFO and CEO levels when appropriate.

4. Coordinate with Sales Managers Sales Reps other SSS management and employees to maintain positive customer relations.

5. Coordinates with Sales Reps and administration for approval of all customer fund raiser requests.

6. Work with other Directors and SSS departments in coordinating all operating and management activities regarding customers product pricing and distribution issues.

7. Manage and expand Physician Choice Buying Group in the three 3 business areas SSS is involved in: Acute LTC and Physician Clinics.

8. Works with manufacturers and vendor representatives and associations to develop promotional material and marketing plans for all product lines including the negotiating of tracing fees promotional fees and other sources of revenues to support our operation.

9. Coordinates all new customer conversion processes working with the various departments so that the process will be completed according to time frames dictated by the customer and other organizations.

10. Report directly to the President/CEO of SSS on all sales activities for SSS.

11. Other duties as assigned by the President/CEO of SSS.

Education

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D. required

  • Bachelors degree preferred


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience in Health Care or related field required

  • Proven sales executive experience meeting or exceeding targets required

  • 3 years previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director required

  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales developing clientfocused differentiated and achievable solutions required


License/Certifications

  • Valid and current drivers license required

  • Proof of Insurance required


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to communicate present and influence all levels of the organization including executive and Clevel

  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals from plan to close

  • Proficient in articulating the distinct aspects of products and services

  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts

  • Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office (Windows Outlook Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

  • Proficiency in the use of B2B Prophet 21 and Ecommerce platforms

  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication

  • Excellent listening negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competent in organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrates good judgment problemsolving and decisionmaking skills

  • Must be able to direct organize and evaluate performance of others

  • Ability to be a team player and work cohesively with all departmental Directors and Managers

  • Customer Service Driver and ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction

  • Must be able to travel three six nights per month required.
