As a Software Engineer III within the International Consumer Bank you willbe part of a flatstructure organization delivering endtoend cuttingedge solutions using cloudnative microservices architecture. Youll be involved in designing and architecting solutions while focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle. Our Developer Experience team is dedicated to providing an exceptional developer experience and youll have the opportunity to work in tribes and squads moving between projects based on your strengths and interests.
Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance the developer experience providing tools and infrastructure that support agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment.
- Execute software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Create secure and highquality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
- Gather analyze synthesize and develop visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data using insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
- Add to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years of applied experience.
- Handson practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability.
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages (e.g. Python) and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies Applicant Resiliency and Security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud mobile).
- Experience with Public Cloud services in Production (e.g. AWS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Familiarity with modern frontend or backend technologies.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience with tools such as GitHub GitHub Actions Artifactory Terraform Cloud Slack Grafana SonarQube is a plus.
