This is a great opportunity to supplement your income while improving childrens lives.
Centria Health is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians to work oneonone with children and families with autism to implement learning programs collect data on target behaviors communicate with stakeholders maintain client confidentiality and regularly meet with their direct leader. You will build trust and care with the child and their family in their home setting within 15 minutes from where you reside.
Hourly Rate: $16 $20

What your day as a Behavioral Health Technician will look like:
- At the childs home you will adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors to provide oneonone developmental and behavioral support understanding some patient styles may be more confrontational than others.
- For guided help you will partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans which may include many physical and mental exercises to provide optimal support to your assigned child.
- You will use you evidencebased techniques to engage actively with children with physical activity which may include standing walking sitting grasping reaching bending kneeling crouching squatting lifting and at times carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.
What we look for in our Behavioral Health Technicians:
- A passion about helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives.
- Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
- Ability to obtain a CPR First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you havent had one in the past year)
- Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
- A minimum of one year experience working with children ages 018 in a daycare classroom setting preferred.
- A minimum of one year experience working oneonone with clients in a behavioral health environment preferred.
