Job Description
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Analyzes data, reports, and processes in order to improve the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of the laundries and factories as well as the product through initiation and implementation of projects that optimize costs, efficiency, and quality.
- Recommends the best methods, processes, chemicals, equipment utilization, and processes in laundries and factories.
- Investigates, plans, and works with other departments, such as engineering, production, and quality, to carry out cost reduction plans by developing, analyzing and evaluating projects, developing action plans, coordinating, implementing, and following-up for results.
- Supports laundries and factories by working together and co-developing better solutions for things like crew structuring, process changes and improvements, and maximizing efficiencies.
- Determines cost impacts and environmental impacts for special requests by Engineering, Costing, Merchandising, and/ or upper management groups.
- Stays informed and up to date on advancements on materials, technology and chemicals.
- Assists when needed in the area of workplace safety.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Quarterly goals and objectives reports are required, as well as detailed factory trip reports with summaries of opportunities, results of tests, and photos / diagrams.

Skills:
- Has wide knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Wet Processing and Laundry Services.
- In the case of an internal promotion, this individual will have completed the LWR Sourcing Engineering Trainee program, and has documented this.
- Part of internal communication and degree of difficulty:
- Will need to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Difficulty arises from selling his cost reduction ideas and gaining the trust of his internal customers.
- Will need to rely on leadership skills in order to translate ideas and data into action plans.
- Experience 5 years
- Language Proficiency: English and local language fluency in both oral and writing

- Major Challenges for this role:
- Reviews laundry processes across vendors; to establish best practices collaborating with Quality Assurance
- Collaborates with Sourcing and Merchandising on FOB savings
- Works with development centers and vendors to deliver cost saving opportunities prior to industrialization.
- Works with vendors to improve efficiencies, to drive productivity upwards, to improve quality and lead time
- Focuses on smart sustainability from equipment, process and chemical angle
