Executive IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

• Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
• Installs, configures, maintains, and approves system hardware and software components.
• Manages user access to systems or applications.
• Identifies problems and optimizes performance, as needed.
• Coordinates and works on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity
• Troubleshoots problems by analyzing root causes and evaluating multiple options.
• Recommends procedures and controls for problem resolution or creates temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented.
• Participates in short- and long term project efforts with stakeholders and IT groups.
• Handles multiple projects and duties simultaneously, prioritizing as needed
• Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes.
• Administers and maintains firewalls
• Implements the plan for backup and disaster recovery for infrastructure solutions.
• Documents problem status and resolution.

Job Requirements

• Microsoft Certified “MCITP or MCSA” is a must
• Expert in Windows server services (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS …etc.)
• Fully aware with VMWare 6
• Very good with Fortigate firewall administration
• Experience with cloud services and Google G-suit
• Good experience with Data center management (servers, SAN storages, SAN switches and core switches)
• Backup methods and DR
• Linux knowledge is a plus
• 3-5 years’ experience in the same position
• B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline
