The Project Controller role is an integral part of our business and provides project management support during Proposal Development and Execution phases of a project’s life cycle. This role will report to the Project Controls Lead with support to the Project Managers to perform duties including the following:
- Managing and assisting in WBS and cost estimate development
- Constructing project schedules, which involves
- collecting and entering major milestones, activities and interdependencies into the scheduling tool (usually P6
- grouping activities in accordance with the WBS or other codes as require
- collecting and entering resource data, including estimates of durations and man-hours
- critical path analysis and resource levelling
- Creating and managing jobs and sub-jobs (work packages) in the GHD financial system
- Ensuring data integrity between the project scheduling and costing databases
- Managing and assisting in determining project performance measures
- Collecting status information at the end of each reporting period and loading it into the cost reporting and scheduling tools
- Review and analysis of actual costs to ensure booked correctly
- Reviewing critical path and float against baseline and assisting with schedule variance analysis and opportunities to meet dates

Managing and assisting in production of weekly and/or monthly reports

Documenting and implementing baseline changes

Preparing invoices including supporting documentation
