Job Description
- To undertakethe preparationand production ofall food orders asrequired from themenu, ensuring thedeliveryof correct orders and appropriate presentation and quality for eachservice.
- To be responsiblefor the presentation, cleanliness, and hygieneofthe kitchen andyour ownperson atall times, ensuringhygiene proceduresare followedand undertaking cleaning dutiesin linewiththe cleaning Rota, and asdirected bythe Executive Chef.
- Toensure food safety and hygiene atalltimes, followingcorrect procedures for thecleansingand preparation of all rawfood, dating androtating allproducts correctly,and checking quality andfreshness Toensure allstorageareas, utensilsand equipment areclean, tidy, and organized atall times.
- To implement adequatesystems of stock and wastecontrol asdirected by the Executivechef
- To be flexibleand approachable in all workingconditions toensure a smoothoperation between departmentsandmeeting the needs ofthe operation.
- Tomonitor, record andreport any wastage
- To develop positive working relationships within all the teams of theoperation.
- To attendand contributetotraining ormeetings as required.
- To carryout anyfurther duties as reasonably requested by the seniormanagement oftherestaurant and company
- Actively share ideas,opinions, andsuggestions indaily shift briefings.
- To ensure allkitchen members areaware ofstandards and expectations.
- To havefull knowledgeof all menuitems, dailyspecials, and promotions.
- Tofollow kitchen policies, procedures, andservice standards.
