Sustainability & Carbon Expert

About this role

Key Responsibilities
• Lead delivery of the carbon management program for the FIFA World Cup 2022 • Provide thought leadership on Climate Change, and act as internal subject matter expert and provide internal training and coaching
• Enable and assure sustainability delivery through all departments and projects in accordance with the FIFA World Cup 2022 Sustainability Strategy• Perform event time sustainability duties
• Support GSAS certification of Stadiums • Manage and comply with the Sustainability Management System
• Implement Sustainable Procurement practices • Support environmental protection and compliance of activities
• Represent in local and international meetings and conference as required• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
General
• Provide input to departmental/divisional planning and administration matters• Adapt to the needs of the role as per the evolution
• Ensure the assigned responsibilities are delivered:• to a high standard of quality and timeliness
• in full compliance with the Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements• in line with any standards and objectives designated in the Employee Performance Management system
