Job Description
- Develop a work plan for the consultancy with deliverables/results, activities, timelines etc.
- Develop required templates for integrating the NSW under the GIEP and those for the action-plans related to other activities to be conducted by other stakeholders including private, public, and military sectors and civil society,
- Facilitate preparatory workshops for gender and planning focal points to introduce the NSW and its synergies with the GEP and other national plans and to inform them of the methodology of developing gender-responsive action plans,
- Provide technical support to gender and planning focal points within the work of their sectoral teams to support the inclusion of NSW objectives, outputs, indicators and related programs within the plans and programs of different sectors in the government executive program,
- Facilitate consultation workshops for sectoral teams with relevant stakeholders, private sector, civil society organizations and donors to ensure the continuity of the participatory approach in developing the NSW action plans under the GEP,
- Coordinate with the Gender Statistics Section/ DOS on producing and providing required data to identify baseline for indicators, review relative statistics issued by international agencies,
- Review draft plans submitted by the task forces from a gender perspective, propose amendments and modify sectoral plans to ensure the NSW objectives and indicators are reflected in the GEP and identify their intersections with different frameworks and commitments,
