Source, develop and pro-actively manage a reputable and long term profitable portfolio of high net worth clients and family offices and institutions (when applicable)
Provide the marketing and business development activities in Qatar using the full range of company products and services
Interact with other parts of Private Banking and the Group for the mutual benefit of HSBC and the clients
Assist the Market Head in developing and executing the market strategy
Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network
Maintain a high level of awareness of relevant products and services available from Group sources and elsewhere in order to provide the best solutions for clients and maximise revenues for Global Private Banking and the Group.
Maintain an understanding of economic, business, tax, property, legal and others relevant matters to a standard that is commensurate with the nature of the existing and target client base
Ensures clients are aware of their level of risk
Review periodically client database to keep information up to date and record major developments
Provides coaching and guidance to other RMs and creates opportunities to develop their knowledge and experience level
Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
