About the Role:

As a parttime Religious Education Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and wellstructured RE lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 covering a range of religious traditions ethical theories and philosophical concepts. This role requires the ability to develop and adapt resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students promoting respectful discussion and critical analysis. You will assess and monitor student progress through essays presentations and debates providing timely and constructive feedback. You will also contribute to departmental meetings and participate in interfaith initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education Theology or a related field demonstrating a strong understanding of religious traditions ethical theories and philosophical concepts. Proven experience in teaching RE at the secondary level is essential with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons. Excellent communication and facilitation skills are crucial as is the ability to foster respectful discussion and critical thinking. You should also possess a commitment to promoting interfaith understanding and a sensitivity to diverse perspectives.
