Position: Senior Data Governance Lead
Experience: 7 Years
Location: Bangalore/Chenai
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Consultant with 7 to 12 years of consulting experience in data management and analytics within Financial Services Capital Markets Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance frameworks data quality and regulatory compliance along with expertise in AI machine learning and data analytics. This role requires a strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset to drive data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance strategies policies and frameworks to ensure data quality integrity and compliance.
- Establish and enforce data management standards including data lineage metadata management and data stewardship practices.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to define data governance requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor data quality and remediation processes ensuring consistency accuracy and completeness of enterprise data.
- Lead initiatives in data privacy security and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR CCPA BCBS 239.
- Provide expertise in Data Science AI and Analytics concepts including MLOps AI operationalization and ethical AI frameworks.
- Work with crossfunctional teams in a multiclient environment fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Define and implement best practices for business intelligence data analytics and data ethics.
- Assist in the development of analytics operating models and data governance maturity assessments.
Must Have:
- Expertise in one or more areas: Machine Learning Business Intelligence MLOps Analytics operating models AI development and operationalization Data & AI Ethics Data Analysis.
- Experience working within Financial Services Capital Markets Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management in a datarelated role.
- Handson experience with data governance tools such as Collibra Informatica Alation or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks affecting data governance in financial services.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
