Job Description

Supplier Information & Process Solutions (SIPS) Specialist

Location: Birmingham AL

Contract 1 Year

Job Summary

The SIPS Specialist supports the Supply Chain Management Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team by managing the supplier master database of over 50000 records. This role plays a critical part in the ProcuretoPay (P2P) process handling supplier additions changes and inactivations in compliance with internal policies and audit controls. The ideal candidate is detailoriented customerfocused and able to work independently in a fastpaced highvolume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier requests to add modify or deactivate supplier records based on established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity accuracy and confidentiality of supplier master data.
  • Support compliance and audit controls as part of the supplier data maintenance process.
  • Interact with internal and external customers providing excellent service and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities to support the needs of the team.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 10 years of related work experience.
  • Customer service oriented with a professional and helpful demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong time management and problemsolving abilities.
