Job Duties
Supports onsite and offsite ambulatory centers and physician practices to maintain regulatory compliance
Rounding at offsite ambulatory centers and physician practices using checklists
Facilitation of performance improvement projects and data analysis
Work with physicians and staff regarding compliance of standards and data outcomes
Support behavioral health and addictions outpatient departments with performance improvement and regulatory compliance
Project assistance for Director SVP and other team members in Infection Prevention and Quality Departments.
Assist with continuous survey readiness activities including education for staff and physicians.
Customer Service: respect flexibility knowledge confidence professionalism pleasant attitude patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely professional caring and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures objectives quality assurance program safety environmental and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps. Good record of timeliness and attendance.
Understands and adheres to the Medical Centers Code of Conduct.
Familiar with the Medical Centers Mission Vision and Values Statements.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Strong verbal written communication and presentation skills must be an organized selfstarter as well as a team player.
Ability to work in Microsoft Office package (including Power Point and Excel)
Understanding of TJC CMS AORN and APIC standards
Familiar with CDC IHI and NAHQ recommendations.
Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor under pressure.
Comfort in handling challenging situations that may involve adverse outcomes.
Education
Bachelors degree required with healthcare major a plus.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus
13 years of healthcare experience a plus but willing to educate and train.
Job Setting/Physical Demands
Driving to offsite centers and physician practices is required.
Rounding and educational inservices that require standing and sitting.
