Job Summary
The Demolition Site Manager supervises demolition projects from start to finish ensuring safe costeffective and timely . The role includes managing a team of demolition workers complying with legal requirements and maintaining a safe working environment. They also monitor the removal and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.

The duties and responsibilities of a Demolition Site Manager include:
  • Planning and coordinating demolition operations
  • Managing the demolition crew and ensuring they operate safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations including environmental guidelines
  • Inspecting the site before during and after the demolition process
  • Assessing risks and implementing safety measures
  • Organizing and conducting safety briefings and training for staff
  • Communicating with clients contractors and public officials
  • Overseeing equipment maintenance and operation
  • Resolving any issues or delays in the demolition process
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Demolition Site Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of construction and demolition procedures tools and safety practices
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and site plans
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • HAZWOPER 40 certification required
