- Candidate must be very detailed oriented with knowledge of the materials business unit and have mechanical aptitude.
- Candidate must be able to perform most duties within the department and distribute tags to the operators as needed for panels and rails must check cart/load for accuracy (measuring panels and rails).
- Candidate must possess computer skills read a tape measure (Metric and standard) use proscale and be able to distinguish the various DLV Styles.
- The ability to quickly understand manage and direct the flow of material throughout the process.
- Understanding lean tools such as 5S and have the ability to assist the Supervisor in directing labor and schedules is an asset.
- Candidate will also be required to sort paperwork and create material labels.
- Employee is required to wear any applicable personal protective equipment work at a productive rate maintain quality and perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- The ability to read measurements work or calculate numbers.
- The ability to use handheld tools including but not limited to handheld pallet jacks pneumatic staple guns industrial hot glue guns and power drills.
- Must be 18 years of age have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience in assembly or a productionoriented environment preferred.
Additionally selected candidates will be evaluated for several productionrelated roles based on business needs. All positions are physically demanding in some way; however some roles require:
- The ability to lift bend push pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.; and
- The ability to stand or walk up to an entire shift (up to 1012 hours).
