As a Cloud Data Engineer your role will be to build and support data infrastructure that enables our clients to make datadriven decisions. You will be expected to collect transform and automate data model.
Tasks
- Maintaining indepth knowledge of cloudrelated technologies and can articulate best approaches and practices to the team
- Create with ETL tools and/or build the required infrastructure for an ETL pipeline
- Part of your work will be to automate and streamline some of the manual processes regarding data flows
- You will translate client needs and objectives into actionable development plans and strategies to help them reach their goals and be able to discuss the plans with them
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science Mathematics Economics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- You have gained experience as a cloud data engineer
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Proficiency in Python
- Knowledge of Relational and nonrelational datasets
- Experience automating manual processes
- Experience with stream processing systems
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Significant experience in designing developing and troubleshooting large productiongrade data systems on the Google Cloud and being able to select the appropriate tools to solve business problems
- As an expert you advise customers in your area of expertise
Preferred Skills
- Google Certified Professional Data Engineer or other GCP certification
- Experience with BigData Tools
- Experience with another cloud provider
- You have experience with agile working practices and tools
- Strong expertise in Python and Terraform
