As an Analytics Engineer your role will be to design and optimize data models that empower our clients to make datadriven decisions. You will be expected to transform structure and maintain data for efficient analysis and reporting.
Task
- Maintain indepth knowledge of data modeling and transformation best practices articulating optimal approaches to the team
- Develop and optimize data models using dbt Dataform and SQL to enable efficient analysis and reporting
- Automate and streamline data transformation processes to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Translate client needs and objectives into wellstructured data models and reporting strategies effectively communicating insights and recommendations
Qualifications
- Experience as an Analytics Engineer Data Analyst or Data Engineer with a strong focus on data modeling and transformation
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data warehousing solutions (BigQuery Snowflake Redshift etc.
- Experience working with GA4 data exports to BigQuery and structuring eventbased data for analysis
- Familiarity with dbt Dataform or similar transformation frameworks
- Understanding of relational and nonrelational datasets and their use in analytics
- Experience automating and optimizing data transformation processes
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to structure complex data for reporting and insights
- Experience designing developing and troubleshooting data models and reporting structures with a focus on performance and scalability
- Ability to advise clients on best practices for data modeling transformation and analytics strategies
