Job Description
In this role you will be the local UK & Ireland expert on our portfolio that supports our Flow Cytometry customers (including cell sorting clinical etc.. As our key customerfacing contact you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing instrument and consumables sales opportunities in the UK & Ireland territories. With your scientific expertise and ability to build strong relationships you will have the unique opportunity to apply your passion for Flow Cytometry in a dynamic sales environment and make a direct impact on business revenue. With your local market insights and established connections in the area you will network to explore new business opportunities with focus on:
- Identifying and nurturing Flow Cytometry and Imaging instruments and consumables opportunities in the academic biotech and clinical sectors to ultimately achieve sales targets.
- Lead customerfocused applicationbased support like product demonstrations seminars training installations and troubleshooting.
- Take ownership of Miltenyis Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting awareness and community building activities (such as trade shows and other events) in the region.
- Support the Sales & Marketing team with actionable insights to grow the reagents and instruments business in the UK & Ireland.
- Contribute to team projects in a high trust environment and participate to a company culture of entrepreneurial spirit innovative mindset and pragmatic problem solving.
Qualifications :
- You have a PhD degree in Cell Biology or a strong background in stem cells oncology immunology haematology or related fields. Strong experience with Flow Cytometry is a essential and experience in Cell & Gene Therapy is desirable. We expect a scientific focus and methodical knowhow.
- At least 35 years of relevant working experience preferably in a life science environment
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both facetoface and virtual settings ranging from small to large groups
- Positive energy with strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility handson mentality and perseverance characterize your working style
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications (MS Word MS PowerPoint MS Excel and MS Teams) as well as easily finding your way in CRM systems
- Fluent in English. Excellent business communication skills (verbal written)
Additional Information :
Your workplace will be primarily home based with UK&IRE travel and some time at the officebased in Bisley Surrey. A valid work permit / residency and full clean UK drivers licence is mandatory for this role.
