Position Overview
As a Business Manager / Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of new business opportunities from initial lead to contract signing. This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand our customer base working closely with internal teams to align on market opportunities and client needs. You will play a key role in shaping the commercial direction fostering partnerships and ensuring that strategic objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated strategic and focused on delivering sustainable longterm business growth with our top tier clients in the real estate property development & construction realm
Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the commercial pipeline from SQL to deal closure ensuring the consistent achievement of strategic business growth targets.
- Conduct thorough client discovery and strategic solutioning employing a consultative approach to uncover client needs and design tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
- Apply advanced business development methodologies to strategically identify qualify and secure new business opportunities while optimizing the sales process for longterm success.
- Cultivate and nurture key client relationships gaining a deep understanding of their strategic priorities and delivering valuedriven solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Utilize strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities to navigate complex challenges and ensure successful valuebased outcomes for clients.
- Operate independently and efficiently within a small agile sales team demonstrating initiative selfsufficiency and a strategic mindset to meet business objectives.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 6 years experience in B2B enterprise technology sales with a focus on consultative selling including at least 3 years in an individual contributor or similar role with an emphasis on closing deals.
- Experience in construction technology or prior work in the construction industry is a strong advantage.
- Sales experience in a startup or scaleup environment is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets consistently outperforming quotas is a bonus.
- Skilled in applying consultative selling methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC BANT SPIN Challenger Sales) to optimize business opportunities is a plus.
- Highly motivated organized and goaloriented with the ability to excel in fastpaced highdemand environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities to address client challenges effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Extensive experience in client discovery and solutioning with a deep understanding of valuebased selling.
- Ability to confidently pitch value and benefits with clear and compelling communication.
- Proficient in CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and providing accurate forecasts.
- Responsive to feedback with the ability to adaptively implement changes to improve performance.
