We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Verify delivery documents (e.g. invoices packing slips) against purchase orders.
- Unload and process incoming items safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
- Create and verify shipping labels and documentation.
- Assist with restocking or moving materials in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping/receiving regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement and production.
- Communicate with suppliers vendors and delivery personnel to resolve any issues.
- Deliver materials to Stockroom or employee who ordered.
- Conduct periodic inventory of stock items perform cycle counts and record inventory.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities when required.
Can work hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus Overtime when needed.
Qualifications :
- Forklift Certification or capacity to complete training
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Communication basic mathematical and organization skills with attention to detail required.
- Job involves standing walking bending and lifting up to 70lbs.
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
