Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Dispatching: Assign drivers and vehicles to routes based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to improve efficiency reduce costs and meet delivery deadlines.
- Driver Communication: Provide instructions updates and support to drivers via phone radio or digital dispatching systems.
- Monitoring & Tracking: Use GPS and tracking software to oversee fleet movement resolve delays and maintain delivery schedules.
- ProblemSolving: Address unexpected issues such as traffic delays vehicle breakdowns and lastminute delivery changes.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure drivers adhere to safety regulations company policies and legal transportation requirements.
- RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities driver schedules vehicle maintenance records and incident reports.
- Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery times delays and service inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
- Emergency Response: Handle accidents breakdowns and other transportationrelated emergencies promptly.
- Malaysias local transportation development is not limited to traditional B2B business; the cold chain also needs to be further improved.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field.
- Experience in dispatching logistics or transportation coordination.
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatching software.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Able to work 5.5 days.
