Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders.
As an Engineer Tech II you will:
- Perform engineering projects guest calls blitzes and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues make repairs and replace fixtures and piping as needed
- Diagnose replace and repair minor electrical components such as receptacles and ballasts
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and household fixtures
- Understand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnostics
- Repair interior and exterior walls wall coverings and ceilings including texturing painting and caulking
- Repair or replace tiles grout vinyl and carpet as required
- Work with pools spas and water features including chemical balancing and cleaning tasks
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work
- Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems)
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal interactions
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management
- Safely use hand tools power tools and batterypowered tools required for the job
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Follow safety guidelines and practices
- Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership

Qualifications :
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of handson experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid drivers license to drive company golf carts
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license as required by the resort
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected
- Ability to be versatile work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership
- Required to pass a background check drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States
