Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders.

As an Engineer Tech II you will:
- Perform engineering projects guest calls blitzes and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues make repairs and replace fixtures and piping as needed.
- Diagnose replace and repair minor electrical components such as receptacles and ballasts.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and household fixtures.
- Understand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
- Repair interior and exterior walls wall coverings and ceilings including texturing painting and caulking.
- Repair or replace tiles grout vinyl and carpet as required.
- Work with pools spas and water features including chemical balancing and cleaning tasks.
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.
- Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal interactions.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
- Safely use hand tools power tools and batterypowered tools required for the job.
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Follow safety guidelines and practices.
- Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of handson experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license as required by the resort.
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
- Must be selfmotivated detailoriented and able to work with enthusiasm and focus.
- Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to be versatile work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Regularly the team member must lift move push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership.
