Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a versatile curious and energetic Software Engineer who embraces solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a multifunctional development team inventing designing building and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.
The Work itself:
- Understand business domain analyze requirements
- Design develop code tests and maintain code
- Communicate and collaborate effectively
- Effectively participate in the technology proofofconcepts and learn new technologies and frameworks
- Understand and enhance coding guidelines and participate in code review processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with Requirements & Analysis group QA team and Production Support team to ensure project alignment
- Provide rotational oncall support as needed.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year of work experience OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Electronics Electrical Communication Engineering or a related field
- Strong C NodeJS or Golang skills and one of the frontend technologies like Angular or React
- Excellent programming skills
- Must be willing to work on Windows Linux and Mainframe
- Demonstrated ability to build objectoriented designs
- Strong ability to collaborate
- Highly driven and resourceful
- AI and generative AI skills are highly desirable.
