Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of an Employment Advisor on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 18.66 23.94 per hour
Summary:
The Employment Advisor will support individuals who have been out of work for long periods helping them overcome employment barriers and move into sustainable jobs. The role involves case management providing guidance and working with various partners to deliver employability programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a highvolume caseload and deliver job search support for clients.
- Assist clients in identifying employment barriers and creating action plans.
- Provide advice on job applications CV writing interview preparation and career development.
- Support clients with job searches preemployment training and employer introductions.
- Organize employment interviews referrals for training and local recruitment events.
- Deliver workshops on employability topics including job clubs and application techniques.
- Maintain accurate client records track progress and produce reports on outcomes.
Qualification:
- GCSE (AC) in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Knowledge of government initiatives related to employment support.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
