About the Role
The Customer Service Representative will provide support in customer service order processing and administrative tasks. This role involves handling customer inquiries managing transactions coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to provide exceptional customer support in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Process customer quotes sales orders and invoices.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to obtain freight quotes and provide tracking updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with urgent shipping requests and process sales orders outside of normal business hours when necessary.
- Conduct accounts receivable followups to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain uptodate customer licensing records and training compliance.
- Manage and schedule customer training operations.
- Oversee the return merchandise authorization (RMA) process.
- Maintain and update customer price lists.
- Develop marketing materials such as brochures and catalogs to support brand growth.
- Assist in maintaining and updating social media platforms and company newsletters.
- Work with accounts payable to ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Participate in team initiatives and special projects.
- Crosstrain in various roles including accounts receivable accounts payable payroll purchasing and sales.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and build relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Excellent planning organization and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism adaptability and attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems such as MAS 500 Sage Oracle or SAP is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in sales marketing or customer service preferred.
- Experience with social media marketing and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
- Background in industrial or manufacturing industries is beneficial.
- Familiarity with international shipping lead times and customs clearance is advantageous.
