Job Description

As a Senior Key Account Manager specializing in retail technology encompassing both hardware and software solutions you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation.  You will be in charge of developing new business across multiple Strategic Grocery Accounts across the West of North America.

Your expertise and existing relationships will be instrumental in identifying fostering and capitalizing on opportunities within the retail sector. Leveraging your understanding of both hardware and software solutions you will strategically position our offerings forge strategic partnerships and drive business expansion.  

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within a predefined list of grocery accounts. Develop and execute business dev plan to maximize revenue opportunities and articulate the value proposition to impact prospective customers. 
  • Obtaining a predefined number of key pilots including innovation pilots as well as volume of revenue and margin on 50 to 1000 grocery store chains within the North American West region. 
  • New Client Acquisition develop new business across multiple grocery Strategic accounts  
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the companys vision strategic priorities capabilities and practice specialties. 
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our retail tech solutions spanning both hardware and software offerings. Articulate the value proposition to target clients. 
  • Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis: Quantify and demonstrate the financial or operational impact that the product or service can have on the customers business 
  • Develop new business opportunities with potential clients focusing on converting qualified prospects by presenting compelling business propositions and solutions. 
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets 
  • Develop and maintain a robust targeted deal pipeline to continuously grow the business and generate sales 
  • Research map establish and build influential relationships with client decision makers at management and Csuite levels 
  • Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and positioning us as a strategic advisor delivering actionable insights and practical business solutions 
  • Monitor key performance metrics track account progress and prepare regular reports on account activities revenue and client satisfaction. This information helps inform decisionmaking and identify areas for improvement. 

Qualifications :

Qualification were looking for.

  • Experience:
    • 8 years of experience in sales or related roles within the grocery retail technology industry. 
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets. 
  • Skills:
    • Indepth understanding of both hardware and software solutions in the retail tech space. 
    • Exceptional communication negotiation and presentation skills. 
    • Forecasting ability through CRM SFDC.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to align technical offerings with client needs and translate them into compelling solutions. 
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and functions. 
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute innovative sales strategies. 
    • A new customer acquisition sales mindset (versus account management) with evidence of exceeding sales quotas or other aggressive business goals. 
    • Affinity for complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes. 
  • Education: 
    • Bachelors degree in business Marketing Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
