- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of watersheds and riverine systems.
- Support field investigations including the collection and analysis of data used to support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Prepare floodplain and watershed studies in compliance with FEMA standards and specifications.
- Execute GISbased one dimensional and twodimensional flood risk modeling software applications such as HECRAS HECHMS and SWMM.
- Support civil design projects with analysis including feasibility of alternative designs site conditions and regulatory agency specifications or regulations.
- Prepare project reports including engineering calculations planning and drafting technical engineering reports research and data entry.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering or related Engineering field.
- Experience with ArcGIS and HECRAS is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with stormwater management earthwork and grading plans.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients.
- Superior task management skills including scheduling prioritizing followingup and keeping project information organized.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Valid drivers license with availability for periodic travel.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
