Supplier Relationship Manager - Professional Services

Were recruiting for aSupplier Relationship Managerto join our Procurement team leading the relationships with Professional services liaising with senior leaders and improving the overall experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Relationship professional to advance their career and take on a role with huge scope and importance. Youll play a key role in helping us to mature the function as you can influence the direction of policy and the way that we operate. Youll have lots of autonomy and variety with your daytoday work giving you a sense of ownership and the freedom to be curious and bring new ideas to the table.

What youll be doing:

• Managing relationships with Professional Services suppliers including actuarial and consultancy providers
• Ensuring full compliance to Supplier Relationship Management policy standards and processes
• Implementing the Supplier Management strategy and proposition across a portfolio of Legal & General suppliers
• Benchmarking new and existing services to ensure that commercial terms are appropriate and fit for purpose
• Liaising with senior internal stakeholders conducting regular reviews of contract service performance and assess areas for improvement
• Supporting with contract negotiations and renewals for inscope suppliers
• Leading dispute resolution with appropriate parties to ensure all contractual disputes are fully resolved in a timely manner

• Experienced Supplier Relationship Manager focusing on Professional Services  
• Proven commercial experience gained from a supplier/vendor management supply chain category management or business development background
• Prior experience in monitoring vendor performance utilising internal feedback
• Youll be proficient in SRM best practices and strategies
• Ability to influence others with a collaborative inclusive and engaging style with a practical approach to delivering successful collaborative outcomes to support evolving business needs
