Job Description

Responsibilities:

ROV Operations:

  • Pilot and maintain ROVs including the Seaeye Surveyor PLUS 225 inspectionclass system.
  • Conduct safe launch recovery and operation of the ROV for various subsea tasks.
  • Ensure all piloting activities are performed following IMCA safety standards and operational procedures.

Inspection & Survey:

  • Perform jacket and conductor visual inspections.
  • Survey boat landings riser guards and structural integrity of subsea infrastructure.
  • Conduct ultrasonic thickness (UT) checks on jacket welds to assess structural condition.
  • Measure wall thickness and identify areas affected by marine growth and scour.
  • Locate and document loose items or obstructions on the seabed.
  • Survey the 500m safety zone around platforms to detect debris for potential removal.

Technical Support:

  • Carry out maintenance fault diagnosis and repairs of ROV systems and associated hardware.
  • Ensure all technical documentation equipment logs and pilot hour records are accurately maintained.
  • Collaborate with the offshore project team to execute tasks effectively and within schedule.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere to health safety and environmental policies.
  • Participate in toolbox talks risk assessments and safety briefings.
  • Ensure compliance with company client and industry safety standards.

Requirements:

Certification & Experience:

  • IMCAcertified ROV Pilot Technician (valid certification required).
  • Endorsed pilot logbook with verified piloting hours.
  • Minimum grade level of ROV Pilot Technician Level 1 or above (Level 1 2 3 SPT or Sub Engineer).
  • Offshore survival and medical certificates (valid for the job duration).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with AOS equipment especially the Seaeye Surveyor PLUS 225 ROV system.
  • Knowledge of subsea inspection techniques UT measurements and structural integrity checks.
  • Competence in troubleshooting electrical mechanical and hydraulic ROV components.

Work Experience:

  • Proven experience in offshore ROV operations.
  • Familiarity with inspection and maintenance work scopes for offshore platforms.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong teamwork communication and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work in remote offshore environments for extended periods 60day rotation).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
