Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Risk Manager to join our team and play a critical role in developing and implementing our risk management framework.

Job Summary:

As a Remote Risk Manager at WeCare Medical Specialty Group you will be responsible for developing implementing and monitoring our risk management program. You will identify and assess potential risks across the organization develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise in risk assessment analysis and reporting will be essential in protecting our organization and maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks across all areas of the organization.

Analyze risk data and trends to identify emerging risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Utilize risk assessment tools and methodologies to quantify and prioritize risks.

Develop and maintain a risk register to track and monitor identified risks.

Risk Management Program Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework policies and procedures.

Establish risk tolerance levels and monitor compliance.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management principles and practices.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standards and industry best practices.

Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update risk management policies accordingly.

Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory issues.

Reporting and Communication:

Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Communicate riskrelated information effectively to all levels of the organization.

Develop and maintain risk management dashboards and metrics.

Facilitate risk management meetings and workshops.

Incident Management:

Develop and implement incident response plans.

Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.

Track and report on incident trends and lessons learned.

Ensure timely and effective communication during incidents.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelors degree in Risk Management Business Administration Healthcare Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management preferably in the healthcare industry.

Strong understanding of risk management principles methodologies and best practices.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g. HIPAA ISO 14971 ISO 13485.

Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

United States Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.

Preferred:

Masters degree in Risk Management or a related field.

Certification in risk management (e.g. CRM RIMSCRMP).

Experience with healthcare compliance and regulatory affairs.

Experience with cybersecurity risk management.
