Terminal3 is looking for Risk Manager for its global games monetization and distribution platform. Our primary goal is to help game publishers and developers expand globally with a complete suite of monetization and distribution services. We work as an extension of their team to help them launch games distribute digital content and accept payments in over 200 countries.
As a Risk Manager you are tasked to oversee and manage all aspects of our risk management programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organizations integrity reputation and financial stability by ensuring that we adhere to all relevant law schemes and regulatory and industry standards.
Tasks
Strategic Risk Management
- Providing strategic leadership and guidance to the entire risk department. Ensuring consistent application of risk management methodologies policies and procedures across operations.
- Overseeing the implementation of risk management tools and systems leveraging existing technology and building upon it to enhance risk monitoring reporting and decisionmaking processes.
Analytical Thinking
- Conducts thorough research of each internal and external inquiry and gathers all relevant data from all sources
- Applies logic in analyzing complex and unusual enduser merchant and team problems
- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate Key Risk Indicators and Performance Indicators specific to the company operations (e.g. Fraud Merchant CB Risk)
Leadership and Teamwork
- Leading the risk team by developing upon existing team strategy and talent development ensuring highquality engagement from the first line with deep domain expertise to provide proactive risk insights to the business.
- Working closely with product teams to value addon risk insights into product changes new product and market launches open issues and horizon risks relevant to the companys operational regions.
- Ability to execute or supervise the execution of processes
Results Focus
- Goes the extra mile to assist different teams with their concerns and resolve their problems that are relevant to risk
- Provide Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly risk reports and updates to the Board of Directors highlighting key risk exposures trends and emerging risks.
- Driving initiatives to promote risk awareness and a strong risk culture throughout the organizations operations including training and awareness programs.
Requirements
- Experience in the financial industry at a managerial level of at least 35 years
- Previous leadership expertise within Risk department and risk management functions with strong business engagement including developing and implementing risk frameworks policies and procedures
- Deep understanding of financial services sector its regulatory requirements enterprise risk mitigation strategies and industry best practices
- Excellent written and verbal English
