Job Description
JOB DETAILS
$16.00 per hour
7 AM 7 PM Shift
- Works safely and applies STOP on the job
- General upkeep and 5S of designated area
- Maintain records and data log sheets
- Ensures product is handled in accordance with established standards
- Examines and measures products to verify conformance to standards using measuring devices such as templates gauges or calipers
- Labels s carts for color designation
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and at times under direct supervision
- Walks / stands 12 hours. Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 35 lbs. Frequently carries up to 20 lbs; occasionally carries up to 35 lbs. Frequently bends squats climbs kneels twists push/pull and reach overhead. Must use hands frequently for grasping fine manipulation and push/pulling
Qualifications :
- Mathematical and mechanical skills required
- Will work in hot and/or dusty environment on concrete floor
- Proficient in use of tape measure
- Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
- Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices andpolicies
- Help ensure coworkers are working safely and followingsafety requirements
- Support and participate in Employee Engagementactivities
- Follow defined cleanup times
- Must follow and work to an established rate as definedby customer demand and Standardized Work
- Participate in defining and improving standard work toimprove quality windows for our customers
- Identify problems; communicate issues
- Assist with training coworkers
- Support a respectful workplace
- Perform other duties across the plant as needed asdirected by supervision or management
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed
- Assist and cover for other workers in different areas asneeded
- Dependability/punctuality
