Job Description

As a Junior Accounting Manager youll play an integral role in our dynamic team handling a variety of financial responsibilities primarily focused on tax. Youll have the chance to gain diverse experience across payroll bookkeeping compilations reviews and more all within the context of the automotive industry. Reporting to the Account Manager youll be responsible for preparing personal partnership and corporate tax returns.
Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare personal partnership and corporate tax returns.
Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships by engaging clients on tax compliance matters conducting tax projections and resolving inquiries.
Financial Review: Review financial statements and assist with compilations and reviews.
Research & Reporting: Conduct tax compliance research and assist with responses to taxing authorities.
Team Support: Act as a bridge between Staff Accountants and Managers ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
Leadership Development: Present on various topics and participate in opportunities for professional growth with a clear path to the Manager role.
Qualifications :
Experience & Qualifications
CPA or EA certification preferred; willingness to pursue if not already obtained
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
13 years of experience (preferred but not required to apply)
Proficiency in software programs including Outlook Excel Word QuickBooks and taxrelated software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive client and team relationships
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Resilience and enthusiasm to thrive in a fastpaced everevolving environment
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines effectively
Desire to grow and progress to the Account Manager role
Additional Information :
Compensation: Starting at $26.44/hour (depending on experience). Growth potential to transition into a Manager role with commissionbased compensation.
