We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Nurse (LPN) for a parttime day position in our healthcare facility located in Southbury United States. As a vital member of our healthcare team you will provide holistic nursing care to our residents focusing on their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
- Monitor the health safety and wellbeing of all residents
- Provide direct nursing care with an emphasis on holistic wellness
- Assist in training and monitoring medication administration
- Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies
- Maintain clinical quality assurance in line with federal state and local standards
- Conduct thorough resident assessments
- Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director (RN) to ensure optimal care delivery
- Promote the highest degree of service to our residents while demonstrating the mission of the company
- Assist in the supervision of daytoday nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants
- Ensure proper documentation of all nursing interventions and resident care
Qualifications :
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a current LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in longterm care assisted living home health or hospital setting preferred
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimers or other related dementias
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices for health and wellness
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows Outlook Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Current CPR certification
- Physical requirements: ability to stand walk sit use fine and gross motor skills reach balance stoop kneel crouch and lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs and work schedules
- Empathetic and patientcentered approach to care
- Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in medication administration and documentation
