The Collections team is a new team responsible for handling the recovery of repayment obligations post disbursal. We protect portfolios and keeping good relationships with customers/partners.
Get to Know the Role
- As the Team Leader for the MY & SG collection team youll foster client relationships manage loan commitments follow our policy and handle loan default inquiries.
- You will lead agents collaborate with external agencies aim to meet set OKRs and comply with standards. Youll pioneer new procedures boost collaboration and productivity.
- You will report to the Head of Lending Collections and be based in Petaling Jaya working onsite.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will manage the daily operations of the MY and SG collections team ensuring efficient resolution of customer accounts promptly.
- You will develop and implement strategies to improve collections processes reduce bad debt and increase repayment rate.
- You will collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues affecting collections performance.
- You will analyse data to identify trends opportunities and challenges and develop relevant recommendations.
- You will ensure internal and external compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and company policies.
- You will manage budgets forecasts and resource allocation plans to support collections operations.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have 3 years of experience in a collections role.
- You have experienced in Corporate/SME banking Fintech or eCommerce and have led a team of 815 collection agents.
- Knowledge about Corporate/SME banking credit and collection policies is necessary.
- You are a team player and be able to suggest innovations that Collections can adopt.
- You have curiosity for learning and able to implement process improvements.
- You have strong command in data storytelling and experience presenting insights to management.
- Multilingual skills are a strong advantage. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarinspeaking clients
- No Accounting certificate like CPA is required.
