Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Power BI Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience working with Power BI and other data analytics tools. The intern will assist in the design development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging data to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report & Dashboard Development: Assist in the creation of interactive Power BI reports and dashboards ensuring high data accuracy and userfriendly design.
- Data Modeling: Support the data modeling process by transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Data Integration: Work with data from different sources (e.g. SQL databases Excel APIs) and help integrate it into Power BI.
- Data Analysis & Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting data discrepancies and ensure data integrity within reports and dashboards.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with data analysts business analysts and other team members to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Help document report specifications and technical processes for future reference.
- Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices and actively apply new knowledge to the internship tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science Business Analytics or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Power BI (report development dashboard creation).
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying is a plus.
- Exposure to data transformation and data cleaning tools (e.g. Power Query DAX) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and consistency of data in reports.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required.
