Our client is seeking a National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Security Manager to provide security management support for multiple clients primarily in northern Virginia. This is a fulltime position with benefits and an immediate hire opportunity. The selected candidate will perform various security management duties including serving as Facility Security Officer (FSO) Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to ensure compliance with federal security regulations and agency requirements.
Location: Primarily in the Washington D.C. Metro Area with flexibility for limited remote opportunities.
Salary: $110000 $120000 annually.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as FSO ITPSO and CPSO in support of multiple clients.
- Manage and oversee security operations in compliance with DCSA and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations.
- Maintain and utilize DISS NISS and NBIS accounts for security processes.
- Implement and oversee insider threat programs and ensure compliance with NISPOM Rule 32 CFR Part 117.
- Provide security guidance training and briefings to personnel.
- Conduct security audits selfinspections and risk assessments.
- Manage personnel security clearance (PCL) processes and oversee document control.
- Ensure compliance with federal laws Executive Orders and Presidential Directives.
- Travel as needed to client sites in and around the National Capital Region.
Requirements
Must Haves:
- Active U.S. Top Secret Personnel Security Clearance with SCI and Polygraph (Required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) working with DCSA and IC programs.
- Extensive experience using DISS NISS and NBIS for security operations.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and other federal security policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently take direction and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Professional demeanor with a clean neat appearance.
- No physical or medical limitations related to assigned duties.
- Must be reliable professional and able to deliver highquality results with minimal supervision.
