Job Description
Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a new challenge Look no further! Valeo Snackfoods a manufacturer of some of the UKs best loved snacks and confectionery is looking for a new member of the team!
What youll be doing:
- The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
- Prioritisation of repair work
- Planning and Monitoring machine performance
- Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
- Monitoring failure
- Supporting External Contractors
- Technical support for production when required
- To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping adopting a clean as you go policy.
- To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.
Key areas of the role:
- Carrying out of the engineering activities.
- Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates.
- Minimizing engineering downtime.
- Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department.
- Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team.
- Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level.
Qualifications :
bout you:
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation electrical safety and safe panel entry
- Experience of FMCG operations
- PC Literate (thereby able to use computerbased maintenance systems)
- Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.
You will be:
- An out of the box thinker who isnt afraid to share a light bulb moment!
- Health and Safety driven.
- Willing and able to work both independently and as part of a close team.
Additional Information :
Salary:per annum DOE
Hours: 4 on 4 off 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am (rotating shifts)
