Responsibilities

• You will accurately input and update patient information dental records and treatment plans into the database ensuring all data is current and precise.
• We expect you to verify data accuracy by crossreferencing with existing records identifying any discrepancies and rectifying them promptly.
• You shall maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Kemp Dentals privacy policies.
• We expect you to collaborate with team members remotely to ensure seamless communication and data sharing across different departments.
• You will manage electronic files ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for authorized personnel when needed.
• We expect you to generate reports from the database as required providing insights and summaries about patient treatments and appointments.
• You shall assist in developing and refining procedures for efficient data entry practices suggesting improvements where possible.
• We expect you to stay informed about new technologies and software updates relevant to our practices data management systems continuously enhancing your skills.

Requirements

• You should have proficiency in accurately entering and managing dental patient data into our electronic systems.
• You must demonstrate a clear understanding of dental terminology procedures and insurance coding to ensure precise data entry.
• We expect you to be skilled in using dental practice management software for recording treatment plans and updating patient records.
• Possessing the ability to verify and correct discrepancies in data is crucial for maintaining accurate patient information.
• You need to communicate effectively with team members to clarify and resolve any ambiguities related to patient data entries.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and securely.
