Job Description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
As a Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst Global Finance Operations (Rebates) you will be responsible for extracting rebate data from various sources and using tools like macros for ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes. Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving data discrepancies generating timely reports to aid decisionmaking and creating dashboards for effective data visualization. You will maintain reporting templates to track rebate performance and produce regular and adhoc reports for stakeholders. Collaboration with crossfunctional teams is essential for validating rebate data analyzing agreements for compliance and assisting in rebate calculations. Additionally you will be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation of data sources and continuously improving reporting processes and data quality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Extract rebate data from various sources and systems.
- Utilize macros and other tools to extract transform and load (ETL) data for rebate analysis.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Generate and distribute timely accurate and insightful reports related to rebate programs helping in decisionmaking and strategy.
- Create dashboards and data visualizations to convey insights effectively.
- Create and maintain reporting templates to track analyze rebate performance.
- Generate regular and adhoc reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather validate and maintain rebaterelated data.
- Analyze rebate agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in the calculation and processing of rebates.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data sources processes and reports
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes and data quality.
Qualifications :
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy Management Accounting Financial Management Business Management or a related field of study.
- 6 to 9 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting Field.
- Experience in data management and analytics is highly desirable.
- Industry exposure in Shared Service setup is highly preferred.
System & Application Requirements:
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems particularly Oracle Cloud or SAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with macros and data automation is highly preferred.
Skills & Competency Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reconciliation data management and reporting.
- Ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities at all levels within an organization.
- Ability to effectively multitask and work collaboratively in a fastpaced team environment or even in a Work from home set up.
