Job Description
Join Our Team as a Machine Operator!
Were looking for a Machine Operator to join our subassembly line where youll help shape sheet steel or aluminum into parts for air conditioners. This position is for the afternoon shift 6:45pm 3:15pm).
Your Role: Youll report to the SubAssembly Line Foreman and your busy handson tasks will include:
- Setting up and monitoring machines according to guidelines
- Making adjustments and recovering from breakdowns
- Performing regular TPM as required
- Selecting jobs and identifying drawings crosschecking with programs
- Forming work queues and loading raw materials using a forklift
- Transporting finished products to the next operation using a forklift or hoist
- Measuring dimensions angles and rotations making adjustments as needed
- Changing tooling and identifying correct drawings
- Understanding and complying with safety and environmental policies
- Reporting and resolving safety issues and contributing to improved practices

Qualifications :
Experience and Skills Were Looking For:
- Machinery Operation: Experience with cutting and bending sheet steel or aluminum.
- TechSavvy: Comfortable with computers and able to program machines.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Skilled at reading and understanding engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Safety First: Strong knowledge of safe work practices.
- Team Player: Reliable with great attendance and a teamoriented attitude.
