Job Description

About the Internship

We are driven to develop a strong culture team delivering excellent 24hour veterinary care and customer service to the Western Melbourne region where your ideas suggestions and participation will be valued.

As an Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Intern you will work closely with our team of experienced Emergency Vets (memberships and have close involvement with our other departments. You will assist with ECC cases and be closely involved in the assessment diagnosis and postoperative care of a diverse variety of challenging cases. The successful applicant will also spend time working within the emergency department as a primary clinician. Facilities include CT 3T MRI exotics animal suite two stateofthe art Getinge ServoU ventilators separate Emergency and Intensive care wards and onsite University clinical pathology and anatomic pathology laboratory.


Qualifications :

About you

Candidates must have a recognised Veterinary degree in Australia and be eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria have excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge base on which to build. Applicants must also be eligible to work in Australia.
