Job Description
Greencross Vets Wetherill Park are looking for an experienced and motivated Vet Nurse to join our team on a Fulltime Basis!
We are a busy practice with a moderate surgical and medical caseload so great for nurses that love a fast pace and dont shy away from learning something new! Weve created a positive friendly and balanced environment we all get on really well and strive for a supportive and motivating workplace culture! We are all open to learn and willing to teach and theres always a laugh to be had!
About your new role:
- Fulltime role undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and postoperative care animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties as required
To be considered for this position candidates must possess:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary nursing
- Proficiency in surgical assistance and pre/postoperative care
- Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures and protocols
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client service
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
- Willingness to continue learning and contribute to the practices growth
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary practice. Experience with RX Works software is advantageous but not essential.
