Job Description
- The purpose of your role as an HVAC Project Sales Representative
- As a Project Sales Representative you will market the company to new clients and develop turnkey solutions including estimating / proposal presentations for mechanical and plumbing retrofit projects in residential and commercial markets. This position also requires the ability to manage existing customer relationships.
- HVAC and Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Competent understanding of HVAC and mechanical and how they function. This includes surveying mechanical systems understanding the needs and problems and determining repair modification and/or replacement requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problems. Interpret drawings equipment and job conditions.
- Estimating: Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
- Proposals: Develop present or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements including requests for proposal responses and industryspecific solutions
- Prospecting: Qualify prospects make effective sales presentations and answer questions and objections proficiently and responsibly. Ability to understand the prospects needs both technically and financially.
- Customer Relations: Promptly addresses customer concerns to ensure the resolution of problems and maintain longterm positive relationships.
