JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cardiac Sonographer II
HRT SONO II

FullTime

Cardiac Sonographer II candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Cardiac sonographers also known as echocardiographers are healthcare professionals specially trained to use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.
  • They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2D or 3D images of the heart and its chambers.

Cardiac Sonographer II candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education Requirements:
Associates degree in Sonography Radiology or a related field within 3 months of hire OR
Completion of a twelve 12 month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry eligible and become registered within one 1 year from date of hire. Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually.

Compensation: $47.46 $70.70/hour
